Michael T. McCully was born in Detroit, Michigan on February 11, 1955. Michael, known as Mac, is the oldest of four children born to Marilyn and Ted McCully. Mac’s father took a job transfer to Indianapolis, Indiana in 1970 where Mac graduated from Carmel High school in 1973. Mac was accepted, attended and graduated from General Motors Institute of Engineering in 1979 with a Bachelors of Mechanical Engineering. From 1974 until 1991 he was employed by Allison Gas Turbines where he worked as a mechanical design engineer on aircraft gas turbine engines. Mac married his wife Mary in March of 1980. They have 3 children, Ted, Laura and Paul.
Mac is a 1992 graduate of Word of Life Bible Institute and holds a Master of Divinity in theology from Grand Rapids Baptist Seminary, 2001. Over the past sixteen years Mac has held various pastoral positions all of which were in the areas of evangelism and counseling. Prior to coming to Grace Baptist in Lebanon, Mac held the responsibility of Pastor of Counseling at West Cannon Baptist Church in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
Mac and his wife Mary recently returned to Lebanon, Indiana to assist in the counseling ministry at Grace Baptist Church alongside of Pastor Grant Hodges and Dr. Charles Hodges.
