Grant Hodges was born and bred a Hoosier (1952), raised just outside of Indianapolis near Clermont, by parents who included hunting, fishing, and church attendance as standard child-rearing techniques. He was captain of the wrestling team while attending University of Indianapolis, and finished a Phd in New Testament Interpretation in 1982. The same year he married Deborah, and they have one daughter. He has pastored for 27 years in Lebanon at Grace, and has counseled families and individuals throughout that period. A turning point in his counseling career was studying under Dr. Bill Goode of Faith Baptist of Lafayette for a summer. During this period he was led by Dr. Goode to see the encompassing applicability of the Bible to all the important life issues we confront.
